Empty Shelves

Went to the local grocery store last night and was pretty surprised at how the shelves looked late on a Sunday night. I don't know what time the night stockers get there, but they weren't unloading boxes at 10:30 when I was there.

It was a little disconcerting to see how bare the shelves could get on an average weekend night. No hurricane on the news, nothing happening- yet we are so dependent on the 18-wheelers to restock us!

I am so glad to have some extras set by! How's your preps going?

Last week I got a few cuttings to grow my own figs, and made a run to the local LDS storehouse. Gotta keep taking steps!
