I wanted to introduce you to an electricity-free method of having delicious coffee. My husband discovered this years ago when he wanted to cut back to a less acidic coffee. It's called a Toddy.
  1. Put cork and then filter in the bottom of the toddy.
  2. pour entire 16oz bag of ground coffee into the toddy.
  3. fill with cold water until the grounds are saturated.
  4. leave it for 8-12 hours.
  5. remove cork and let the cold-brewed coffee drain into the carafe.
  6. keeps cold almost indefinitely.
  7. add to cold milk or hot water for great drink.
The other way of having coffee is a french press.
